Carl Miller, 86, of Charleston passed away July 4, 2010 after a battle with cancer.

He was the son of the late Emory and Irene Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three of his four brothers; David "Sonny", Robert "Bob" and Harold Miller.

Surviving are his son, David Miller and wife Debbie of Charleston; daughters, Susie Miller of Statesville, NC, Barbara Eitutis and husband Matthew of Elizabethtown, KY; brother, Charles Miller and wife Eva of Hurricane; very special friend, Libby Wotring; and six grandchildren.

Carl was a Christian. He enjoyed family and his friends and neighbors. He served in the United States Army Air Corps in WW II. Carl retired from Union Carbide after approximately 40 years of service as a pipe fitter.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 7 at Keller Funeral Home in Dunbar, with Pastor Matthew Shamblin officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests the memorial donations be made to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd., Charleston, WV 25312 or North Charleston Baptist Church.
