Carl E. Weigand's Obituary
Carl E. "Buzz" Weigand, 64, of Cross Lanes, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at his home.
He was retired from the American Electric Power John Amos Plant with 31 years of service and was a US Air Force veteran. Buzz was an avid gun collector, wood worker and musician.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Ora Sayre Weigand and his daughter, Charity Weigand.
Surviving are his daughter, Stephanie Gipe and her husband David of Winfield and grandson, David Gregory Gipe, II, of Winfield; brother, Victor Weigand of Charleston; nieces, Mitzi and Kimberly of Fla; and former wife, Kathy Edens.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, October 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Ravi Isaiah officiating. Entombment with Masonic rites will be in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, October 25, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
