Carla Jean Wright's Obituary
Carla Jean Wright, 62, of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at CAMC- Memorial Hospital.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #131, South Charleston. She was a past Grand Mother Advisor of the National Order of Eastern Star and was a past Matron of the South Charleston Chapter. She was also a Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star on the state level, was Past Mother Advisor of the South Charleston Assembly #20 and Past High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine.
Surviving are her husband, Edward Wright; son, Andrew Wright and his wife, Stacy of Cross Lanes; daughter, Ginger Harris and husband, Ben of Scott Depot; mother, Betty Bell Carnes of Charlotte, NC; brother, Milton Carnes, Jr. of Cross Lanes; sister, Rebecca Violes of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Hayden Harris.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, November 28, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Ollie R. Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, November 27, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, during which there will be an Order of Eastern Star Service.
