Carol M. Brogan's Obituary
Carol Sue (Mitchell) Brogan, 78, of Ravenswood, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, at Jackson General Hospital after a long illness.
Carol graduated in 1952 from Sherman High School, Seth, WV, and then graduated from WV Tech with a degree in Secretarial Science. She worked for both Columbia Gas and Mountaineer Gas and retired as Supervisor after 34 years of service.
She enjoyed their many years of camping and for the past 21 years she had enjoyed their winters in Florida where she had many friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and twelve brothers and sisters. Mrs. Brogan is survived by her husband of 51 years, William G. Brogan; nephew, Roger Fauber of Boone Co., WV; great niece, Candy Faux of Canton, OH; and other nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service held at 1 p.m., Thursday, September 26, at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dr. Okey Harless officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to: American Cancer Society, 301 RHL Blvd., Suite 6 & 7, Charleston, WV 25309.
Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
