Carol Ann Hancock, 76, of Poca, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

She was born in Seth on August 20, 1941 to the late Glendon and Velma Hancock.

Carol helped raise several of her stepchildren and neighborhood kids along with her own children.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jackalee Hancock; stepsons, James Robert Fridley, Kenneth Fridley and Ronnie Fridley.

Carol is survived by her sister, Jessie Marie Brown of Charleston; brother, Vernon Hancock of Jacksonville, FL; sons, Eddie Craigo, Joseph Fridley of Cross Lanes, Frederick Fridley of St. Albans and Paul Fridley of Poca; daughters, Sue Dunlap of Leon and Brenda Clay of St. Albans; stepsons, Earl Fridley, Jr. of Ohio, Roy Challoner of England and Gary Thompson of Campbells Creek; stepdaughter, Barbara Nottingham of St. Albans; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, at Floral Hills Gardens of Memories with Sue Dunlap officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
