Carol Jean Stewart passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at home, at the age of 74.

She was born on August 9, 1949 to Harley Devern Foos and Dorothy Mae Schell Foos in Ransom, Kansas.

Carol was a dedicated, hard working individual who spent her career working for Columbia Gas Transmission in various capacities within the Building & Facilities Department.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, needlework, and the outdoors.

She is survived by by her daughters, Lori Combs (Cory) of Raleigh, NC, Amy Stewart, Raleigh, NC; two grandsons; three siblings; and her partner, Alex Sirbaugh.

The family requests that should you wish to honor Carol's memory, donations be make to the American Liver Foundation PO Box 299, West Orange, NJ 07052 on her behalf.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8 at the West Virginia Chapel in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes, with Reverend Pete Thompson officiating.
