Obituary

Carole Crowder Beals, 63, of St. Albans, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 12, 2021 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Also known as Mimi, she lived for the love and laughter of her seven grand babies. Whether it were trips to Disney World, reading books, blowing bubbles, or just sitting and listening to their laughter as they play, her life was complete as long as she was with them.

Carole met the love of her life while attending college and was married to him for 40 years. Wes and Carole had a love that not many get to experience in their lifetime. Like Carl and Ellie from "Up", their love persevered through all that life threw at them.

She is preceded in death by her father, Earl Crowder; mother, Muriel Crowder; and older brother, Dave Crowder.

Carole is survived by her husband of 40 years, Wes Beals; three children, J.W. Beals (Jordan), Leah McClellan (Sean), and Troy Beals (Monica); seven grandchildren, Harper Beals, Aria Beals, Lilly McClellan, Bailey McClellan, Josie McClellan, Finley McClellan, and Wesley Beals; and her five siblings, Linda Gunnoe (John), Bill Crowder (Marlene), Rob Crowder (Janice), Kathy Anderson (Tim) and Scott Crowder (Mary Kay).

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
