Carolyn Louise Madden, born on November 11, 1943, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021. She was 78 years and 7 days old.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Thomas Mattox; mother, Carrie Katherine Jones Mattox; her infant son, Charles Jasper Mash; and granddaughter, Amanda Price.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Tina Watson of Pt. Pleasant, Keith Mash of Pt. Pleasant, Vickie Anderson Rabon (Allen) of South Shore, KY and Jim "Jimboy" Taylor (Kim) of West Hamlin; sisters, Marlyn Stevens of Piqua, OH, Kay Debore of Hamlin, Janet Cooper of Hamlin, and Tudy Combs (Mike) of Dayton, OH; brother, Frank Shields (Doc) of Hamlin; grandchildren, Brittany Harr of South Shore, KY and Misty Clutter of Pt. Pleasant; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Price, Aiden Hoag, Alexis Conklin, and Breena Clutter.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
