Carrie V. Cottrell Thomas, 88, of Marmet, went peacefully to be with the Lord on May 23, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Leon "Jack" Cottrell; second husband, Arnold L. Thomas; and four brothers and three sisters.

Carrie is survived by her daughters, Beverly Ann Munson (Homer) and Cheryl L. Akers (Randall); granddaughters, Carrie Ann Adams and Monica L. Munson; great-grandchildren, Mari'Jane V. Pritt, Teagan Hamil, and Justice Frazier; and great-great-grandchild, Kevyn Leon Hockenberry.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Joseph Fleck officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
