Carroll "Bee" McClanahan, 79, of Nitro passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.

Bee was employed as a security guard at the AT&T building. Bee enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially the mountains, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Denzil and Freda McClanahan; brother, Donald McClanahan; sisters, Phyllis Thomas, Janet Browning, and Bethlean McClanahan.

Bee is survived by his daughter, Deana Richards; grandchildren, Matthew Darnold, Abby Darnold, Craig Richards II, and Sully Richards; brothers, Dennis "Dink" McClanahan and Billie McClanahan (Barbara); and sister, Joyce McClanahan.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, at Goff McClanahan Cemetery, South Charleston.

Arrangements are in care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
