Charles "Patrick" Boyd, 36, of Dunbar, went to heaven on October 8, 2014.
Patrick was a long distance truck driver for Central Transport (Dunbar). He formerly worked for the WV Division of Highways; WV Alloys and Kanawha Scales.
Patrick was an avid motorcyclist, and in his spare time he built motorcycles. He also enjoyed fishing, golf, and being outdoors. Patrick was a great cook and often grilled and smoked meats.
He was well known for his love of hot sauce, which he liberally applied to many foods.
Patrick was predeceased by his father, Charles Joseph Boyd.
He is survived by his wife, Gretchen of Dunbar; step-son, Jonathan Jones of Dunbar; mother, Linda Kay Cipoletti and step father, Sam Cipoletti of South Charleston; brother, Tony Boyd (Cindy) of Seven Hills, OH; step-brother, Doug Cipoletti (Shannon) of Oak Hill; step-sisters, Ellen Nonnemacher (Ben) of Reading, PA., Ann Cipoletti of Greenwich, CT., and Grace Cipoletti of Fishersville, VA; uncle, Dan Kay (Kim) of Cross Lanes; aunt, Nora Petitt (Bob) of Hammond, IN; cousins, Kristy Kay Pressly of West Palm Beach, FL, Rob Kay of St. Petersburg, FL, Alexa Kay Terry of Cross Lanes; Justin Kay of Teays Valley; Deanna Munjas of Hammond, IN, Tammy Barnett of Chicago, IL, Bobby Petitt of Hammond, IN.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Dr. Okey B. Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
Friends and family may call two hours prior to the service on Sunday.
