Charles "Chuck" Wesley Ellis, 56, of Dunbar, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston.
Chuck was formerly employed by CKS Plastics of Orlando, Fla., as an operator, and had also worked as a cashier and in the produce department at Kroger of Dunbar, at Smoker Friendly of Dunbar and for Copley Wrecker Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Ellis; paternal and maternal grandparents; his nephew, Eddie Byrd; and his uncle Ben "Pop" Hunt.
Chuck is survived by his sister, Rexanna Farrell and her husband, Mike, of St. Albans; aunt, Bettie Hunt of Dunbar and cousins, Cindy Burch and Ellena Colon of Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Fairlawn Baptist Church Family Life Center, Dunbar, with Pastor Joe Ballard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave. SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
