Charles David "Tom" Fields, 72, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Hubbard Hospice House West.

He was born on November 20, 1948 in Charleston. He spent the rest of his years in Dunbar, where he graduated from Dunbar High School in 1968. He made his career at Verizon for 25 years.

Tom is survived by his children, Scott Fields and wife Karen, Christopher "Tommy" Fields, Timothy Fields and wife Stacy, Charles Eric Fields; brother, Michael Fields and wife Sue; sister, Tonya "Toni" Stowe and husband Don; and seven grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor David Keeney officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
