Charles E. Hager, 67, of Charleston, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 10, at his home.
Mr. Hager was a chef for the University of Charleston and was a member of the Pleasant Hill and Chesapeake Freewill Baptist Churches. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Cora E. Hager and by one brother, Clifford G. Hager.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Marie Hager; step-son, Jeff Dunlap of Charleston; sisters, Carolyn Dragomire of Canton, Ohio and Sandra Ray of Cross Lanes. Also surviving are step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Dunlap and David Thomas of North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 15, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Sam Morris and the Rev. David Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park.
