Charles R. "Charlie" Keller, 70, of Charleston, took his final ride with the Lord on Wednesday July 27, 2016.
He was born Nov. 15, 1945, in Charleston to the late Herbert and Irene Keller.
Charlie worked at U.S. Steel Mining Company and at Ruan Trucking. He was a U.S. Army veteran and loved to ride his Harley with his MC brothers, family and friends. He loved his parrot, Baby.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Keller; son, Herbert "Herbie" Keller; brothers, Maxwell Keller, Rodney Keller and Thomas Keller; sisters, Margery Runnion and Samuella Turley.
Charlie is survived by his son, Byron Faegre and wife, Jeanine; daughter, Candy Lynn Faegre; sister, Nancy Crouch; brother, Jacob Keller; life-long friend, Gary Matheney; granddaughters, Sarah Leach and Hannah Faegre; four great-granddaughters; along with many nieces, nephews; and great- nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at CAMC Memorial and Hubbard Hospice House West for their loving care.
Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 30, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Dana Clay officiating and a eulogy by Philip Kelley of Bikers for Christ. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
