Obituary

Charles H. Light, Jr., 92, of South Charleston, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Hubbard Hospice House.

He was a retired data processing supervisor for Libby-Owns-Ford Glass Co. and was a US Army Air Corps veteran of WW II. Mr. Light was a life member of the Elks Lodge # 202 and the 73rd Bomb Wing Association.

Surviving are his sons, Gary Light and his wife, Joy of South Charleston and Charles W. Light and his wife, Annie of St. Albans. Also surviving are grandchildren, Heather Snyder of Cross Lanes, Cassie Light of St. Albans and Michael Light of Amherstdale; great granddaughter, Isabella Grace Light; step-grandchildren, Chrissy Perdue, Tina Jo Adkins and Jesse "Bubby" Foster; step-great grandchildren, Isaiah Adkins, Gracie Perdue and Alex Perdue.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, October 12, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Robert Boggess officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 11, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
