Charles "Charlie" M. Means, 65, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 13, 2013 after a long illness.
He was a roofer by trade and he enjoyed flea marketing and yard selling. He never knew a stranger and loved to talk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard T. and Lousie Means; brothers, Claude Means, David Means, Jimmy Means, Elsie Means, and Doyle Means.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Judy Means; son, Dustin Means; daughters, Emma Vandale and Tammy Woodall; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Cricket Means, Bobby Means, and Ronald Means; sisters, Martha Mathes, Alice Huffman, Delphia Cole, and NormaJean Carrier; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am Thursday, May 16 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Jimmy Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Park.
