Charles "Clark" Stanley, 57, of Dunbar passed away on December 21, 2023.

Clark was born on February 26, 1966 in Hawthorn, California.  Clark's family was from West Virginia and they moved back when he was a toddler and he remained here the rest of his life.

He graduated from South Charleston High School.  He worked for Goodwill Industries for 20 years.  He was very proud of his time there.  In January of 2023 Clark had to quit working due to a heart attack.

Clark enjoyed writing numbers in his notebooks and collecting Hot Wheels cars. He never met a stranger and had many friends.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Stanley and Betty Stanley.

Clark is survived by his sisters, Dianna Gertz and Charlene Seabolt; nieces and nephews, William Steven Miller (Cloe), Kristina Ann Cato (Joe), Melissa Sue Snead, Kevin Gertz, Jr. and Amy Jo Stanley.  He also leaves behind many great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
