Charlotte Jean Owen Swiney, 84, of St. Albans passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 after a long illness.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Eugene Swiney; and her youngest son, Michael Dean Swiney.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Barry Swiney and his wife Ann; daughter, Carolyn Sue Bailey and her husband Joseph; brother, Gerald Owen; sister, Sandra Diehl; and grandchildren, Todd Swiney, Caleb Swiney, Michele White, Billie Jo Ruggier, Seth Swiney, and Mica Green. Charlotte is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece and nephew, Tracy Morton and Terrance Shelnutt.

There will be a private family service held at a later date.
