Cheri Lou Damron, 73, of St. Albans, WV, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at home surrounded by family.

She was born on July 28, 1952 in Logan, WV to the late Nellie and Charles G. Ware.

Cheri was a graduate of South Charleston High School, and worked in the Kanawha County School system for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, David Damron.

Cheri is survived by her daughter, Heather Nowling (Chip); her grandson, Caleb Canada (MacKenzie); her daughter, April Rogers; her grandsons, Alex Rogers (Hannah), Cody Rogers, Corey Rogers; her three great-grandkids; along with her brothers, Charles Richard "Rick" Ware and David Leonard Ware.

According to her wishes, there will be no service.
