Chester Paul Beane, 84, formerly of Dunbar, passed away in Nashville, TN on Monday, April 17, 2006, after a short illness.
Chester was a graduate of WV Tech, and then retired from Union Carbide. He was a member of Dunbar Church of the Nazarene. He served his country in the Army Air Corps, 29th Bombardment Squadron, during World War II.
Mr. Beane is survived by his daughters, Paulette Whitten of Hendersonville, TN, Lynn King of Brentwood, TN, Pat Stefanik of Nashville, TN, Mary Jo Ledyard of Fayette, OH; step daughters, Jeani Kolb of Charleston, Susan Hurley of Elkview; brother, Charles Beane of Sissonville; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
The service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 22, 2006, at Dunbar Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Philip Bowles officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Pocatalico.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church.
