Christina "Tina" Dawn Britton, 30, of Cross Lanes, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on July 11, 2014. She was an amazing woman of faith and an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Christina is a graduate of Nitro High School class of 2002, graduate of Marshall University class of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and received her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2010. She was a long time employee of CAMC Women and Children's hospital as an RN in the Emergency Department. She worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Charleston Internal Medicine. Christina was dedicated to the care of her patients and always put them first. She was a faithful member of Teays Valley Church of God.
She is survived by her husband Justin Britton, father and mother Mark and Darcia Painter, sister Erica Hinkley (Anthony), brother Mark Painter II of Cross Lanes, WV; sister Sarah Hobbs (Cody) of Charleston, WV; Grandparents, Don and Helen Painter of Given, WV; Joan Shafer of Sissonville, WV; niece Torrance Nutter and nephew Keegan Hinkley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to anglesamungus.org, team "Expect a Miracle" for brain tumor research.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 14 at Teays Valley Church of God with Pastor Melissa Pratt officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Garden .
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 13 at Teays Valley Church of God.
