Clair I. Robinson, 81, of Scott Depot went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2015 after a short illness at CAMC Memorial Division.
He was a graduate of Walton High School and was a member of Charleston Baptist Temple. Clair was retired from Union Carbide with over 37 years of service. After retirement he was employed in various part-time positions leading to his last employer, Capital City Auto Auction, for the previous 20 years. He was 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite and an active member of the Dunbar Masonic Lodge #159 AF & AM for over 50 years.
Clair was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and wife of 62 years, Madeline P. Robinson; sister, Madaline Faigley; and brother, Conard Robinson.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen Wayne Robinson (Rosanne) of Penn. and David Alan Robinson (Teresa) of Scott Depot. Also surviving are four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Mission, PO Box 112, Charleston, WV 25321 in Clair's memory.
