Clarence Henry King, 62, of Charleston, passed away March 6, 2015.
He was born in Simmons Creek to the late Earl Henry and Elsie H. (Campbell) King.
Clarence worked at Magic Dry Cleaners, Carol's Cleaners, and for several tree cutting companies, including Knolls & Sons Tree Service of Chicago.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ray King.
Clarence is survived by his companion of 11 years, Mary Lanier; son, Clarence Allen King and his fiancée, Kara Jones; step-daughter, Sue Ellen Lanier and her boyfriend, Daniel; brother, Ralph C. King and his companion, Nellie; grandson, Gage Allen King; and close friends Joe Barnett, Becky Dean, Darrell Knapp and Darrell Bowe.
The family would like to thank Hospice nurses, Joan Carroll, Sharon Ellis, and Marion Higginbotham and social worker, Jennifer for their help and caring.
No service is scheduled at this time.
