Barney was a retired carpenter and a member of First Baptist Church of Dunbar.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella I. Miller .

Mr. Miller is survived by his children, Nancy Campbell of St. Albans, Shelba Stevens of Cross Lanes, Beverly Wheeler and husband Gene of Poca, Clarence Miller and wife Carol of Wardensville, Milton Miller of Lost City, David Miller and wife Cindy of Charleston; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Penny.

Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, March 4, at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Rev. Thomas E. Stevens, Jr. officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
