Claude Edward Anderson, 73, of Dunbar died March 15, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer M. and Laura G. Anderson; brothers, Robert J. Anderson, Gary D. Anderson, and Larry L. Anderson; step-son, Mark Mercer; and granddaughter, Anna Gandee.

Claude is survived by his special angel and loving wife, Josephine Anderson; children, Debbie Leedy and husband, Clyde of Charleston, Penny Anderson of Charleston, Lisa Gandee and husband, Neal of Charleston, Lesli Wright and husband, John of South Charleston, Stephen Anderson of South Charleston, Amy Duncan and husband, Jon of Franklin, Tenn.; step-children, Missy McDonough and husband, Pete of Bunker Hill, Sam Mercer of Falling Waters, Mike Mercer of Bunker Hill, David Mercer of Bunker Hill, Joe Mercer of Tenn, Matt Mercer and wife, Janie of Martinsburg and James Mercer of Bunker Hill; grandchildren, Aaron Leedy, Allan Leedy, Melissa Miller, James Braxton, Kurt Gandee, Kaleb Compton, Alya Wright, Brennan Wright, Kirsten Anderson and Hunter Duncan; step-grandchildren, Tyler Springer, Nathan McDonough, Kayla McDonough, Kristen McDonough, Senora Mercer, Matt Mercer; great-grandchildren, Elias Leedy, Chloe Pettrey, Jillian Miller; and special friends, Dolores Anderson, Ed Leedy and Larry Williams.

He was the owner of Anco Auto Service in Dunbar. Claude loved old cars and motorcycles.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Harold B. White, Jr. and James Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday.
