Claude Allen Roop, 50, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Charleston.

He was born April 18, 1966 to the late Ronnie and Juanita Roop in Baltimore, MD.

He was a carpet layer for most of his life. He is "free as a bird" now. He was his sister Renee's "baby" because their mother gave him to her. He took care of his mother and grandmother.

In addition to his parents Claude was preceded in death by his brother; Ronnie R. Roop Jr., and his niece; Josephine M. Roop.

He is survived by his daughters; Ashley and Adrianna, sister; Renee H. Roop, brothers; Joseph "Joey" Roop and wife Chrissy, Big Bill Keeton, Little Billy Keeton, nephews; "Baby" Ronnie Roop III, Nathan Roop, Christian Roop, niece; Rosy Roop, great-nephew; Little Nathan Roop, great-nieces; Samantha Cole and Brooklyn Roop, and uncle; John R. Young.

The family would like to thank their friends at Eastbrook, and the doctors and nurses at Fresenius Kidney Care and CAMC Memorial for everything they did for him.
