Cletus R. Walker's Obituary
Cletus R. Walker, 78, went home to join his heavenly family July 14, 2016.
He was disabled from Goodrich Gulf Rubber Plant, a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Beni Kedem Lodge, Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites. Cletus was a US Marine Corps veteran and he graduated from Charleston High School, class of 1957.
Cletus leaves behind daughters, Jaye Walker (Mike), Robin Strouse (Mike); step-son, Todd Carte; brother, Bill Walker; several nieces & nephews; special nephew, Danny Ray Atkinson (Donna); grandchildren, Casey Eskew (Zach), Joshua Staats (Melissa), Greg Staats, Ryanne Thacker, Rachelle Smith; step-grandchildren, Mikki Keller (Jeff), Monica Walker (Mike Harvey), Mendi Meadows (Chris); 13 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and his special friend, Bev Ashworth.
Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with
Pastor Jim Russell officiating. A private family burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home.
