Conard E. Sayre, 89, of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2022 with his loving wife by his side.

He was born on August 1, 1933 in Liberty, to the late Corbett and Leatha Sayre.

Conard was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he was an air traffic controller.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Gilbert Weaver; first wife, Jan McComas; and brothers, Calvin Sayre and Robert Sayre.

Conard is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, JoAnn Sayre; children, Ramona Nelson (Andy) and Jeff Taylor (Melissa); grandchildren, Jessica Green (Dallas), Brooke Miller (Steve), Ashley Goodall, Josh Taylor (Danielle), Justin Goodall and Alison Hodge (Matt); siblings, Larry Weaver (Sharon), Patty Foutz (Dick) and Jason Weaver (Teresa); and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with Pastor Joey McCutcheon officiating. Burial will follow in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
