Connie Loring Maxwell, 68, of Charleston, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, August 23, 2021.
She was born on September 13, 1952 in South Charleston to the late John and Dorothy Loring.
Connie was a Christian that loved the Lord and liked to share him with others. She was always ready to pray for others that were hurting and in need. Connie was like her mom and dad in that she never knew a strangers. She was a very loving and giving person who loved music, people, animals and most of all she loved the Lord. She was an artist and it showed in everything she did. Connie loved to read. She was a seamstress, knitter and crocheter and made many beautiful things. She loved to cook and people would clamor for her food.
Connie was a hairdresser for many years and was in high demand. Afterwards she worked in various offices and then became a payroll clerk for the Department of Administration and then for Owens Corning. She played to piano and sang in church sometimes with her mother.
She was a wonderful person, sister, mother and wife, and would always have her sister's back. She kept track of all the family and they knew they were loved by her. Connie had a memory for names, places, dates, and what you were wearing. She is very much loved and will be missed by all.
Connie is survived by her son, Kristopher Maxwell and wife Monica; sisters, Judy Ridenhour and husband Don, Amy Loring; brother, Larry Loring and wife Cheryl; and many nephews nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
According to her wishes she will be cremated and no services are scheduled.
