Craig Allen Davis, 45, of St. Albans, departed for his final journey on the morning of September 8, 2021.

He was born on March 16, 1976 in Charleston to Jackson Davis, Jr. and Freda Means-Rucker.

Craig was known and loved by so many. He loved to make people happy and he was always ready to give out his great big bear hugs. Craig had the biggest, most kind heart and was always there to help anyone he could. The person he loved most in the world, and was most proud of, was his one and only child, Codie Davis. He was a loyal and caring friend to so many, they thought of him as a big brother. Craig was easy to love and he will be hard to forget. He will be missed and loved by so many, With heavy hearts we pray that you fly high and rest easy, we love you.

In addition to his father, Jackson E. Davis, Jr. "Junie" , he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jackson E. Davis "Paps".

Left to enjoy the memories of his life are his mother, Freda Means-Rucker; grandmother, Myrna "Nan" Davis; son Codie Davis; his other half and mother to his two children, Amber DeMarco; grandchildren, Coalton and Carson Davis; brothers, Tony Rucker and his wife Tammy, and Jason Davis; sister, Christine Davis-Jenkins and her husband James; close cousins, Jessy and Sarah Davis; nieces and nephews, Brent, Kayla, Damyon, Clay, Felicia, Brooke, Rachelle, Baby J and Jackson; other cousins, Isaiah, Isabella, Addyson, Braxton, Kinslee and Brooklynn; six great-nieces; three great-nephews; his dog and best friend, Scrappy Doo; along with many other family and friends who will truly miss him.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
