Dallas Lee Harvey, 84, of Dunbar, WV went home to be with Jesus on June 8, 2025, just two days shy of his 85th birthday.

Born on June 10, 1940 to Lucille Harvey, he was a lifelong resident of Dunbar, WV.

Dallas started working at Kanawha Glass in Dunbar for 10 years, then moved onto work at Kanawha Valley Scales in  1970, and worked there for 54 years.  He was also an active member of the First Baptist Church of Dunbar for over 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Myrtle Lee; his mother, Lucille Harvey Temple; Virgil Ray Harvey and Glen Harvey.

Dallas is survived by his brothers, Ronald Harvey of Dunbar, Delmar Harvey (Kathy) of East Bank; and his sister, Linda Thompson (Larry) of Charleston, WV.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with burial to follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Family will welcome visitors from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
