Danny Elsworth Martin, 60, of Tornado, passed away Oct 1, 2017 as a result of a heart attack.

He was born to the late Lonnie and Betty Martin on February 7, 1957.

Danny was a very talented musician who sang as well as played multiple instruments.

In his youth, he and his family played together in many venues. His love of music continued throughout his life. He was an owner-operator for multiple trucking companies and performed much of his own maintenance while in those roles.  He further displayed his mechanical aptitude by building and racing cars.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Beth) Martin; and his brother, Ray.

He is survived by his daughters, Danielle Slonka, Gabrielle Jones, and Catherine Martin; two grandchildren, Emma and Alli; and his long-time companion, Tina Rapport.  He also leaves his brother, Mark; and his sisters, Kay, Angie, and Crystal.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
