David "Doc" Richard Cole Jr., of Charleston, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018.

He was born April 9, 1976, in Charleston, to David Richard Cole Sr.and Delphia Mae Cole.

David was a 1995 graduate of George Washington High School. He served in the U.S. Army and the Marines. He was very much loved by his family and will be greatly missed by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his father David Richard Cole Sr .; sister, Joy Denise Cole; maternal grandparents, Birdie and Willard Means; paternal grandparents, Inez and Charles Cole.

David is survived by his mother, Delphia Mae Cole; wife, Nina Cole; daughters, Samantha Cole, Daya Cole, Brooklinn Cole; grandson, Mason Cole; sister, Dawnita Cole; and a host of many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 5, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
