David Lester George's Obituary
David Lester George, 70, of South Charleston, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007 at the VA Regional Medical Center, Huntington.
He was born Dec. 25, 1936 to the late W. Leslie and Erma Hill George, the youngest of five children. David was a graduate of South Charleston High School and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a retired salesman for Danzer, Inc.
David was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Glenn E. George.
He is survived by brothers, Richard E. of South Charleston and Thomas of Cross Lanes; "special nephew" Steven George as well as numerous other nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, June 29, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Rodney Campbell officiating.
