David Marshall Ginestra, 71, of Dunbar, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

He was born on March 26, 1950 in Charleston, to the late Joseph and Charlotte Ginestra.

David graduated from Dunbar High School in 1968 and then from West Virginia State College in 1973 with a BS in accounting. He worked for the State of West Virginia Conservation Agency until his death.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two grandchildren, Jackson Persinger and Elizabeth Persinger.

David is survived by his three daughters, Christie Persinger and husband Wayne of Covington, VA, Mary Ginestra of Dunbar and Cathy Hunt and husband Chris of Hurricane; granddaughter, Peyton; and grandsons, Caleb, Blake, Carter, Dawson and Clay.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, CrossLanes.

Friends and family may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
