David A. McFadden IV (Bubba) of Dunbar passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, after a long illness.

He was a graduate of East Bank Senior High School.  David was raised in Eskdale and later became an Eskdale volunteer fire fighter.  He was a former employee of Baker Hughes, Inc.

David was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and had a passion for cars.  He enjoyed riding his 4 wheelers, as well as his Polaris.  His love of family had no limits and was immeasurable.  He was a "one of a kind" husband, father, brother and was a friend to all.  He loved making people laugh.  He will be greatly missed.

David was preceded in death by his parents, David (Butch) and Lucille McFadden.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl, of 29 years; stepsons, Chad Cochran and Brett Cochran; stepdaughter, Jody Cochran and her son, Hunter Cochran, all of Dunbar; along with his brother, James (Allie) of Winston Salem, NC.

A memorial/remembrance service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, WV with Pastor DaVontae Edwards officiating.

Family will welcome friends one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
