David Joseph Mitchell's Obituary
David Joseph Mitchell, 64, of Dunbar, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at his home.
He was retired from BB&T and was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. David attended the McKinnon Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Josephine Mitchell.
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Mitchell; brother, Ronald Mitchell and his wife, Donna; sisters, Brenda Long and her husband, Freddie of Canton, OH, Nancy Beard of Twilight; father-in-law, George Goode of Nitro; brothers-in-law, Walter Goode of Dunbar and Mike Goode and his wife, Susie of Caldwell. David will also be missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 14 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Steve Burns officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
