David "Louie" Parsons, 59, of Scott Depot, passed away on March 11, 2017.

David was a graduate of Dunbar High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to be in the boat fishing with his dad.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Parsons; brother, Michael Parsons; and nephew, Kelly Roach.

David is survived by his loving companion of 32 years, Jan Vance; mother, Jean Parsons; sister, Pamela Layne (Gary); brother, Ralph Parsons (Pam); a very special person he called son, Austin Roach; and several nieces and nephews,

The family would like to thank Dr. Leonard Fichter, Dr. Jonathon Zuniga, Dr. James Akins, Dr. Arturo Lim, Dr. Gregory Kelly, and all the fine nurses at CAMC Teays Valley Hospital and Dialysis Center, Dunbar.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Jim Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
