Obituary

David "Alabama" Jehu Randolph, Sr., 65, of Tornado, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 with his family by his side at home.

He was the son of the late Jesse and Alda Randolph. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his nephew, Mark E. Williams and his dear cousin, Carla Boswell.

One of David's greatest joys was to watch his young son, Jesse play Youth League Football and WV and Alabama College Football with his family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, family time and all his fur-babies.

David served in the Army for 15 years, after leaving the Army he was an over the road truck driver in FL until moving back to his home of WV in 1991 in which he continued to work with heavy/highway as a transport driver for B&J Contracting in Elkview. He then went on to work at Kanawha Stone Co. as a Rock Truck Driver until going into the coal mines in Ashford for Ravencrest Mining construction. He then received his VA and SS Disability and loved being at home Dad .

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joanne Randolph; daughter, Deborah Brooks (Wade); sons, David Randolph, Jr and Jesse Randolph; sister, Draema Young (Hoy); grandchildren, Savanah, Jacob, Madison and Caleb; nieces, Kristene, Robin, Samantha, Sarah; nephew, Donald; and many cousins and best buds.

A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 15 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 15 at Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery with a procession leaving Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar at 1:45 p.m.
