David Eugene Taylor, 63, passed away on July 25, 2024 in Sissonville, WV from a short illness.

Born in Charleston, WV on May 22, 1961 to the late Eldon and Vera Taylor, he was a lifelong resident of the Sissonville area.

David loved the outdoors and hunting.  He was very witty and was always making people laugh.

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Kate Neal; brothers and sisters, Tim Taylor (Karen) , Mike Taylor (Teresa), Vonda Thaxton (Timmy) and Angie Tyler (Mike) all from Sissonville, and Trina Young of Four Oaks, NC; special niece, Brittany Young who went out of her way to check on David every day; along with several other nieces and nephews he was close to.

David's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.  His memory will be cherished in the hearts of his loved ones forever.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

Family will welcome friends two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
