David Ray
Wileman
January 17, 1979 – January 22, 2023
David Ray Wileman, 44, of Saint Albans went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2023 after a long illness.
David loved hunting, fishing, and the Pittsburgh Steelers; though he never made it to a game. David and his wife, Lori made it a ritual to go fishing together and to watch Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown; as well as just spending all of their time together making memories. They were blessed with almost 14 years together. He will be missed more than he will ever know. He was a big guy with an even bigger heart, who always kept it real.
Before David's disabling illness started in July 2018, he was a very hard worker that spent almost 20 years at Burger King.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bertha Keener, John Wileman, Julian and Charlene Woods; and very special uncle, Dennis "Shug" Wileman.
David is survived by his wife, Lori Huffman Wileman; two daughters, Amber Whaley and Maranda Skeens (Luis); father, Harley Wileman; mother, Nancy Wileman; step-father, Gary Wileman; three sisters, Christy Cain (Dan), Jennifer Wileman (Larry), and Leslie Casdorph (Daniel); grandson, Alexander Forristal; nephew who he considered his son, Brandon Lacy (Crystal); as well as his other nieces and nephews, Anna Casdorph, Trenton Casdorph, Danielle Cain, and Maddie Lemaster. He is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins who meant so much to him.
Special acknowledgement for his healthcare team, Nurse Practitioner Shane Bennett, Dr. Jonathan Zuniga, and Mountaineer Home Care.
David's wish was to be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 28 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Rev. Mark Fisher officiating.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
