Deanna Lynn Arnott, 70 of Dunbar, WV passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2026 after a year long battle with cancer.

Deanna was from Dunbar and lived most of her life in Dunbar. She is a 1973 graduate of Dunbar High School where she was a member of the band and a majorette for 5 years. She was a homemaker for many years, and also worked as a catering secretary for the Marriott and a financial assistant for Jackson Kelly law firm.

Deanna was a member of Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle, where she attended faithfully for many years. She enjoyed baking, volunteering for her children and grandchildren’s schools, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Delbert and Norma Jean Greenlee.

She is survived by her loving husband Steve Arnott of 50 years, daughters Heather (Matt) Moles and Ashley (Brad) Walters, grandchildren: Bradley, Avery, Andrew, and Breanna, brother Terry and sister Sandra along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Michelle Pickens who served as Deanna’s caregiver, as well as a thank you to Hospice who provided compassionate care at the end of Deanna’s life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28 from 6-8 pm at Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 29 at 10 am at Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle. Graveside Service to follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle.

Arrangements are in care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
