Deborah Ann "Debbie" Carpenter, 60, of Sissonville passed away on May 30, 2022 after a short illness.

She was born in Chicago Illinois on February 20, 1962 to the late, Glen Carpenter and Vesta Mae Feazelle .

Deborah, Deb, or Debbie was known to have a mothering personality, who took many under her wings whether they wanted her to or not! Her front door, as well as her refrigerator door, was always open. It was very rare to see anyone come out of Deb's home without at least a full belly, some good advice, and feeling at least a little better than when they arrived; according to her very large circle of friends she loved like family.

She was employed or years by The Farm Table Family Restaurant and by many of our local favorite bar establishments. She became well known for her delicious steaks.

Some of the things Debbie was passionate about was being a member of some of our local pool leagues, The Mexicats, and The Triple D's.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Glen Buddy Carpenter Jr. (Mary).

Debbie is survived by her beloved fur baby, Miss Kiki Carpenter; step-daughter, Jennifer Feazelle (Kayne); step-son, Jason Feazelle (Jaycee); sister, Elma Ruby Carpenter (Cooter); brothers, Jefferson Gay Carpenter (Lisa) and Timothy Feazelle; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She most definitely will be missed, but will forever remain in the hearts of us all.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.
