Deborah Lynn Horton's Obituary
Deborah Lynn Horton, 60, of Nitro passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at home surround by family and friends after a long illness.
Debbie was born November 16, 1953, and a graduate of Dunbar High School. She was a loving wife to Kevin Horton of Nitro and loving mother to Dewayne Thomas of Charleston.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert (Jeep) and Alice Dailey of Tyler Mountain; son, Christopher Thomas; nieces, Jessica Johnson and Lacy Whittington; and her nephew, Jason Johnson.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by those who have survived her; sisters, Gale Johnson of Tyler Mountain, Kittie Hughes of Kenna, Terri Bailey of Rocky Point, NC, and Brenda Bernola of Weirton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and life long friends. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 7 pm Monday, February 24 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Friends and family will gather one hour prior to service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
The family would like to give a special thank you to HospiceCare for their care and support. Donations may be made in Debbie's honor to HospiceCare, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25312.
