Deborah L. Thornton's Obituary
Deborah L. "Debbie" Middleton Thornton, a life-long resident of Dunbar, passed away on August 20, 2016 of complications from COPD.
She had worked at Arthur B. Hodges Center and retired from St. Francis Hospital.
Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, mother and memaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael and her parents, William and Irene Samples Middleton.
Debbie is survived by her sons, Jeremy and Nick; step-daughter, Kelly; mother-in-law, Ora; sister-in-law, Lynn; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Shawn James, Ali Shultz and Jesse Thornton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with the Rev. Dr. Okey Harless officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
