Debra Ann (Burk) Kiser, 66, of Charleston, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

She was a 1976 graduate of Dunbar High School, continuing her education earning an ADN (Nursing) from WV Institute of Technology, RBA from WV State University and MBA from WVU.  She recently retired from CAMC as the Director of Quality.

Debra was a generous person who loved animals and rescued a multitude of cats over her lifetime.  She was an artist, writer, and gardener.  She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and coworkers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Kiser, and her father, Harold Burk, Sr.

Debra is survived by her son, Jonathan Kiser (partner Emily Gilliam) of Tennessee; mother, Peggy Burk; sister, Cathy Widdecombe (Greg); and brother, Harold Burk (Melissa).

A Celebration of Debra's Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.
