Delma M. Kirby, 83 of Dunbar, passed away on May 7, 2017.

She was a faithful member of Roxalana Gospel Tabernacle, where she was an active member of the choir.   She loved her church and lived a faithful Christian life.

She was the owner of "Delma's Family Hair Care and Tanning Salon" for many years. Every person she encountered loved her.   She thought of all of her customers like family. She loved them and they loved her. She was an inspiring sweet, soft spoken woman who always saw the best in everyone.

Delma was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Rosa Lee Blevins; brothers, O'Dell and Jack; husband, Harold Kirby; and sons, Bill and Tom.

She is survived by sisters, Irene Ashley and Carol Ashley of Bristol, Va.; brothers, Dwight and Kenny Blevins of Chilhowie, Va.; children, Barbara Moore (Gary) of Scott Depot , Richard Kirby (Gloria) of Spring Hill, Fla. and Rhonda Richardson of Dunbar; grandchildren, Chris, Misty, Christy, Angie, Sandi, Missy, Michael, Amber, Josh, Billy, Abby, Eric; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar with Pastor Tom Price officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
