Deloris Jean Harris, 82, of Tornado, went home to be with the Lord after living a long wonderful life on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

She was born on April 8, 1941, in Julian, to the late Walter and Stella Armstrong.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Okey J. Harris; and her oldest brother, Sebert Armstrong.

Deloris is survived by her daughter, Renee Harris of Tornado; brothers, Raymond Armstrong of Culloden, Denny Armstrong of Hurricane, Don Armstrong of Georgia, Ronnie Armstrong of Florida; sister, Judy Thompson of St. Albans; and various nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 29, at Cunningham Memorial Park, St, Albans, in the upper mausoleum chapel, with Pastor Jake Henley officiating.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, 1248 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, WV 25311.
