Dennis Ray "Bear" Lewis, 71, of Green Valley Drive in St. Albans passed away on Wednesday, April 23 in CAMC Memorial Hospice after a five year battle with cancer.

He was born in Kanawha County in 1953 to Robert and Edith Lewis.

Dennis was a 1971 graduate of St. Albans High School.  He did all kinds of work from scrapping, cutting grass, working at the Harley Shop , working with heating and cooling to remodeling.  Dennis could do it all.  He was happiest out riding his motorcycle or spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arley Robert Lewis.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Edith Wolford; wife, Beverly Tabor Lewis; brother, Kevin (Cindy) of South Charleston; stepchildren, Jason Romero and Courtney Kyte; sister-in-law, Kimberly Tabor; grandchildren, Hannah Kyte (Jay) and Hayden Kyte (Arayea); and great-granddaughter, Miss Hadlee Tucker.
